If you do not supply such documents within a reasonable time or if such documents are not acceptable to us (acting reasonably) we shall be entitled to close your Customer account and treat any deposits into the Customer account as being invalid (and any winnings arising from such deposits as void). We recommend that you contact support@10bet.co.uk if you have any questions regarding our verification process.
4.5. Dormant / Inactive Accounts
An account will automatically be classified as dormant/inactive after a consecutive period of 12 months since the last account login (a "Dormant Account").
10bet will contact the Customer no less than 30 days prior to designating an account as a Dormant Account using the Customer's last known email address. If no response is received from the Customer within 7 days of the date on which 10bet has attempted to contact the Customer as described above, the account will be designated as a Dormant Account from such date.
Once your Customer account has been designated as a Dormant Account, 10bet shall be entitled to deduct a monthly administration fee of 5 GBP from any positive balance which remains in a Dormant Account (the “Administrative Fee”). 10bet will cease the deduction of any Administrative Fee should the Customer login into his or her account during the Dormancy period.
Prior to classifying your account as a Dormant Account, we will attempt to return any outstanding real money balance to you using the last payment method used by you to deposit into your account, save where these Terms & Conditions permit us to withhold payment to you.

To withdraw funds you should visit the ‘Withdraw’ section of your 10bet account. The standard minimum withdrawal amount is £1 (or its equivalent in another currency) as may be amended from time to time. However, if you have a balance lower than this minimum you can contact our Customer Service team in order to withdraw the full balance amount.

We do not make a charge for withdrawals to online payment services or UK debit cards. We do not allow any transfer of funds between our Customers' accounts.
All withdrawals will be processed back to the same payment method used to make a deposit to the account. In the case of a request to pay funds via Direct Bank Transfer (DBT), the acquiring bank account must be held in the same name as used during registration of the Customer account.
In circumstances where a withdrawal is requested in respect of funds which were originally deposited from multiple financial accounts in the preceding six (6) months, 10bet shall, following an internal risk assessment on each of applicable financial accounts, distribute such withdrawal monies proportionally to the respective financial sources from which these funds originated.

11.5. Voided Bets
In the event of a system malfunction, all unconfirmed bets are void. We are not liable to you for any loss that you may incur as a result of such suspension or delay. To the extent that a voided ‘won’ bet results in your Customer account going into negative balance, we reserve the right to recover such amount from your account deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and winnings.

12.3. Information which Must be Included in any Written Communication with 10bet
To protect your privacy, all email communications between you and 10bet should be carried out using the email address that you have registered against your Customer account held with 10bet. Failure to do so may result in our response being delayed.

Please note that any failure to submit written communication with the information outlined above may result in a delay in our ability to identify and respond to your complaint/claim/other matter in a timely manner.
We will acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours of receipt and all reasonable efforts will be made to resolve any reported matter promptly and, at a maximum, within one month. An extension may be applied if the issue is complex, in which case we will send you an update of the position explaining why we do not yet have a final response, and when we reasonably expect to have one.
If for some reason you are not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint/claim, you may refer the matter to our nominated ADR provider (see Section 13 below).
12.4. Reporting Collusion
Should you ever suspect that another Customer is colluding with another Customer or cheating in any way, please notify 10bet via the means of communication listed in Section 12.1 above.
13. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
If, at the conclusion of the Customer Complaint process (outlined in Section 12.2 above), you do not consider that 10bet has settled the dispute, you may refer the matter to IBAS, our ADR provider. The IBAS website and full contact details can be found at www.ibas-uk.com.
The nominated ADR entity will act as an impartial adjudicator on disputes that arise between 10bet and a Customer only when:
- the Customer has made every reasonable effort possible to resolve the dispute before speaking to them – in practice this means that you should go through 10bet’s own internal Customer Complaint process (set out in Section 12.2 above) before referring the matter to ADR; and
- a deadlock regarding the resolution exists.
ADR is a free of charge service. The ultimate resolution of the ADR or the regulator does not deprive you of the right to pursue the matter in the courts, which will be the final stage in the process.
14. Indemnity and Liability
14.1. Indemnity
You hereby agree to indemnify us against any and all costs, expenses, liabilities and damages arising from any Prohibited Activity undertaken by you.
14.2. Limitation of Liability
This Section is not intended – and shall not be considered – to be excluding liability for anything which it would be unlawful to exclude under applicable law. In particular (but without limitation) nothing in these Terms & Conditions will operate so as to limit or exclude any liability of the Operator in respect of fraud, personal injury or death caused by the Operator's negligence.
We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking the contract between us or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen.
If defective digital content which we have supplied to you damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation. Responsible gambling
Responsible and Fair Gambling
At 10bet, we are committed to providing our Customers with the most enjoyable gambling experience possible, but we also recognise that gambling can cause problems for a minority of individuals. To ensure that you continue to enjoy safe and manageable play, we fully support Responsible Gambling and have put numerous measures in place to assist you.
1. Gambling Self-Assessment
If you are concerned that gambling may have taken over your (or someone else’s) life then the following questions may help you to find out:
- Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
- When gambling and you run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
- Do you gamble until your last penny is gone - even the fare home or the cost of a cup of tea?
- Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have spent gambling?
- Have you lost interest in your family, friends or hobbies because of your gambling?
- After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
- Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
- Do you feel depressed or feel that you are likely to harm yourself because of your gambling?
The more you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, the more likely you are to have a serious gambling problem.
To speak to someone about this, you can contact Customer Service or there are a number of Support Organisations available to help with free and independent advice.
2. Support Organisations
If you or someone you know has a gambling problem we advise that you consider assistance from one of these recognised organisations:
GambleAware

www.begambleaware.org
UK National Helpline: 0808 8020 133
Gamblers Anonymous
Website: www.gamblersanonymous.org.uk

3. Staying in Control
We at 10bet encourage our Customers to actively participate in the management of their gambling account, so we offer a variety of responsible gaming features.
3.1. Set Financial Limits
This facility allows you to manage the amount of money that you can deposit into your account.
To help you set limits that are right for you, think about these questions:
- How big a loss are you prepared to accept, before you start gambling?
- How often do you play?
- How long is your average gaming session?
Use your answers to determine how much you would like to allow yourself to spend per day, per week or per month.
Deposit limits may be set for the following periods:
- Daily – calculated on a 24-hour basis
- Weekly – calculated on a 7-day basis
- Monthly – calculated on a 30-day basis
At your request, deposit limits may be decreased, increased or removed entirely. An increase or complete removal of deposit
limits will only take effect after a 24 hour cooling-off period has elapsed, whilst a decrease to your deposit
limits will come into effect immediately. You may only have one deposit limit in place at a time.
When you first register an account at 10bet, you will be presented with the opportunity to set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits. You can then set or adjust the limit settings yourself either via the Details/Limits feature within the Website or by contacting Customer Service.
3.2. Take a Break (Time-Out)
At 10bet we understand that a Customer’s personal and/or financial circumstances may change and that there will be times when it makes sense to take a break from gambling. You can take a break by requesting one of the following Time-Out periods:
- 24 hours
- 1 week
- 1 month
- 6 weeks or
- any other period of up to six weeks
You can either set the break period yourself via the Details/Limits feature within the Website or by contacting Customer Service and asking for a Time-Out period to be applied to your Customer account. Upon receipt of your request, 10bet will take the necessary measures to temporarily suspend your account held with 10bet until the Time-Out period has expired. The requested Time-Out shall also be applied to any other Customer accounts that you hold with the Operator, including those held in respect of other brands.
Once you begin your Time-Out period, you will not be able to access your Customer account, although you will still be able to withdraw any remaining balance by contacting Customer Service. It will not be possible to reactivate your account until the Time-Out period has ended.
Your Time-Out will come into effect immediately once you confirm it and shall remain in place until its period expires.
If you want to prevent yourself from gambling for a longer period of time you should use our Self-Exclusion option (set out in section 3.4 below).
Please note that upon your chosen Time-Out period expiring, your account will be automatically re-activated and you will once again be able to access your Customer account in order to Participate at 10bet.
3.3. Reality Check
The Reality Check facility allows you to set the frequency at which you will see a Reality Check on the screen within your gaming session at 10bet. A Reality Check means a display of the time elapsed since your session began. The Reality Check shall only apply to your gaming session with 10bet and not any other account that you hold with the Operator.
When you first register an account at 10bet, you will be presented with the opportunity to set your desired interval for the Reality Check. You can always set, adjust, or check the time until your next Reality Check, either via the Reality Check feature within the Website or by contacting Customer Service. When the Reality Check appears, you will be presented with the option to change the interval, see your wagering history or Logout.
3.4. Stop Gambling – Self-Exclusion
If you feel that your gambling has become problematic, you have the ability to self-exclude yourself either via the automated self-exclusion feature within the Website or by contacting Customer Service and requesting a self-exclusion period be applied to your account.
Please note that if you commence the self-exclusion process through the automated self-exclusion feature on our Website, the self-exclusion will not take effect until you confirm it and complete the process.
The following Self-Exclusion periods are available:
- 6 months
- 1 year
- 2 years
- 5 years or
- any other period over six months
Your self-exclusion will come into effect immediately once you confirm it and shall remain in place until you actively request it after its period expires.
During the period of self-exclusion it will not be possible to re-open your account for any reason, and 10bet will always do all it can to detect and close any new duplicate accounts that you may open. Once the self-exclusion is applied, we will mark you as an individual to whom marketing materials must not be sent within no more than two days of receiving the completed self-exclusion notification. We will do all that we can to prevent you from opening another account with us, but also ask that you avoid trying to open another account.
Should you decide to self-exclude from 10bet, we will automatically apply the self-exclusion to all other of your Customer accounts held with other brands managed by Blue Star Planet Limited, the Operator of 10bet. We strongly recommend that you also seek exclusion from all other betting operators you have an account with.
Upon entering into a self-exclusion agreement with the Operator, any funds held in your Casino Buy-In Account and/or Main Cash Account shall be returned to you. The minimum return amount shall be one (1) currency unit, for example £1.00. Any unsettled bets held with the Operator at the time that you enter into self-exclusion will be settled on the result of the event. If your bet is a winner, your winnings will be automatically withdrawn to your applicable credit/debit card or other financial account from which the funds were deposited.
We also suggest that if you use social media channels, you should take steps to ensure that you don’t receive our news or updates. We recommend that, during a period of self-exclusion, you seek additional support and advice from one of the Support Organisations (set out at section 2 above).
Please note that upon your selected self-exclusion period expiring, your account will not automatically be re-activated. The account may only be considered for re-activation by 10bet if you actively request it, and in any event, will only come into effect after a further 24 hour cooling-off period has elapsed. Further, upon the reactivation of your account, marketing materials shall continue to not be sent to you, unless you have asked for or agreed to accept such material.
If you are a resident of the United Kingdom and consider self-exclusion, you may wish to register with GAMSTOP.
GAMSTOP is a free service that enables you to self-exclude from participating online gambling companies licensed in Great Britain.
To find out more and to sign up with GAMSTOP please visit www.gamstop.co.uk.
3.5. Activity Statement
Information relating to your gaming, including your account balance, gambling history (including bet amounts, winnings and losses), deposits, withdrawals and other related transactions at 10bet can be viewed via the My Account menu feature within the Website or by contacting Customer Service.
Player Protection Policy
1. Protection of Minors
With the Internet so readily accessible via mobile devices and in homes around the world, responsible online gambling relies heavily on parental control and supervision. In order to ensure child safety on the internet, 10bet encourages its Customers to make use of filtering software to prevent minors from accessing inappropriate online material.
10bet offers the following tips for parents:
- Keep your 10bet Username and password safe.
- Do not leave your computer unattended when logged in to your 10bet account.
- Do not allow persons under 18 to participate in any gambling activity.
- Keep your credit/debit cards and other financial account details out of reach of children.
- Do not save passwords on your computer. Write them down and keep them in a safe place, away from minors.
- Do not use the “Remember Me” feature if you access 10bet from a shared computer, especially if you share your computer with children.
- Educate your children about the illegality and the potential damage caused by underage gambling.
- Take particular care regarding the use by minors of all electronic and mobile devices.
- Make use of filtering software to prevent your children from accessing inappropriate material, including gambling sites.
Underage gambling is not only illegal, but can also result in early gambling dependency and substantial gambling debts incurred by unsupervised children.
So, if you share your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or computer with friends or family who are under the legal age to participate in online gambling, 10bet recommends that you restrict their access to our Website by using one of the below services:
Netnanny.com - filtering software that protects children from inappropriate web content.
Cybersitter.com - filtering software which allows parents to add their own sites to block.
betterinternetforkids.eu - a website which is co-funded by the EU and provides information about internet filter software and also offers a free test version.
Other Important Tips:
Make sure that the decision to gamble is your own personal choice.
We suggest that you don’t gamble if:
- it interferes with your daily responsibilities;
- you are being treated or are in recovery for a dependency;
- you are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance;
- you are attempting to win back previous losses; or
- your primary purpose is to recoup your debt with your winnings.
2. Rules of Play
Before you start gaming at 10bet, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with the rules of the games and, in the case of our Casino, try our “Practice Play” mode.

Upon receipt, we will endeavor to reply to your communication within 48 hours. Further, best efforts will be made to resolve any reported matter promptly and, at a maximum, within one month. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the resolution of your complaint/claim, you may refer the matter to an ADR provider.
5. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
If, at the conclusion of the Customer Complaint process (set out in section 4 above), you do not consider that 10bet has settled the dispute, you may refer the matter to IBAS, our ADR provider. The IBAS website and full contact details can be found at www.ibas-uk.com.
The ADR entity will act as an impartial adjudicator on disputes that arise between 10bet and a Customer only when:
- the Customer has been through 10bet’s own internal Customer Complaint process (outlined in clause 13.-13.2); and
- a deadlock regarding the resolution exists.
ADR is a free of charge service and the ruling reached by the ADR entity will be considered final by both 10bet and the Customer, subject to full representation being given to all parties involved.

Monthly net loss limits
Monthly net loss limits
What is a monthly net loss limit?
A monthly net loss limit is a personal limit that represents how much of your own cash you can lose over a rolling 30-day period.
For example, if a £1,000 monthly net loss limit is applied on your account, then if you lose £250 on March 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, you will have exhausted your £1,000 net loss limit for the 30-day time frame. On March 31st, the March 1st loss will fall off allowing a £250 available net loss limit. On April 1st, the March 2nd loss will fall off allowing an additional £250 loss limit, and so on.

Account verification
Account verification
What is the verification process (KYC)?
Know Your Customer (KYC) is the way we verify your account from security aspects. There are several stages so it may take time, but we'll get through it together. KYC is important for a few reasons: your safety, our betting environment security, and for staying in line with UK Gambling Commission regulations.
KYC has three main stages:
- 1. Electronic verification
- 2. Verification with documents
- 3. Enhanced verification
Here’s a bit more about it.
What is electronic verification?
We need to make sure all our customers are aged 18+ and allowed to bet. This electronic check usually takes just a few seconds but if this doesn’t work we’ll need to verify your account with documents.
What is verification with documents?
We use this if an electronic check fails or as part of KYC.
If this is necessary, you may need to show us:
- 1. a document to prove your identity (passport, ID card, driving license, etc.)
- 2. a proof of address document issued in the past 18 months
- 3. a copy of your debit card (with middle digits hidden)
If your driving license address is the same as your registered address – success! That's a solid proof and we'll accept that.
10bet complies with GDPR in the use of your personal data and documents, all explained in our Privacy Policy.
What is enhanced verification?
Sometimes online gambling operators are legally required to ask for source of funds/wealth information from their customers.
This enhanced verification process aims to prove that the source of gambling funds is legit (salary, savings, property funds, rental income, inheritance, betting profit, stocks and shares etc.) and that customers play within their means.
At this stage, we’ll get in touch with you. All you need to do is provide documents which show you have enough funds to support your online gambling at 10bet. A copy of a pay slip or a bank statement is usually fine.
We’re here to make everything as easy as possible and give you all the help you need. If you want to know more just get in touch.
What is a monthly affordability level?
This one is the part of a person’s monthly income which they can afford to use on leisure activities, including gambling. The reason for that is to make sure no one will spend more than they can afford.
With our bettor's sake in mind, we've set a default monthly net loss limit within 30 days on both Sports and Casino betting activities. To clarify, the monthly net loss limit functions on a 30-day rolling cycle which is calculated day-to-day.
How can I expand my monthly net loss limit?
All you have to do is contact us and our support team will guide you thru our swift affordability check.
Meaning you send us any document showing you can afford expanding you limit, and we update your new limit in no time.
What documents can I use for an affordability check?
Any one of those will do:
Salary, savings, property funds, rental income, inheritance, stocks or shares etc.
Where should I send my documents?
- 1. Go to My Account > Account Verification
- 2. From the drop-down menu, select the type of document you’d like to upload
- 3. Click ‘Browse’ to choose your file

When a file uploads it will appear in the ‘Shared Documents’ library below.
If this doesn’t work, just email your documents to docs@10bet.co.uk from your registered email address.
How do I make sure my documents are accepted?
We have a few rules about the type and quality of documents you supply. They must be:
- 1. Currently valid and issued within the last 18 months (applicable for proof of address documents)
- 2. Colour copies (for all ID documents, no black and white copies please)
- 3. High quality, in focus, clear and easy to read — not blurred
- 4. Untouched and unedited
- 5. Complete — all edges and corners of the document must be visible. Make sure you’re not covering any parts of the document with your hand or finger
- 6. With a photo — please don’t leave it out of the frame (applicable for all ID documents that include a photo)
- 7. The original downloaded PDF file (not a screenshot in PDF format)
- 8. Shot in good lighting — please don't use flash
How do I know if my account is verified?
Simply check in the 'Account Verification' section in your account.
- 1. Log in and go to My Account > Account Verification
- 2. Look for the ‘Electronically Verified’ message on the header. If it’s there - you’re good to go! Let the games begin
- 3. If we couldn’t electronically verify your information, you’ll see the following message: “We need more ID before you can….”
In that case just follow the instructions on the screen or contact us for help.
Occasionally, we may need to further verify your account. If so, we’ll get in touch via email - ASAP.
How long does it take to check my documents?
We’ll do our best to review your documents in just a few hours but if things are busy this can take up to 24 hours. We promise to try to do it faster. We don't like to wait either.
Once that’s done, we’ll get in touch with you by email with the good news that your account is up and running.
What document can I use as proof of address?
We can accept utility bills issued in the past 18 months — such as gas, water, electricity, phone, etc. If you don’t have any bills in your name, you can send:
- 1. a copy of a bank statement
- 2. an insurance policy
- 3. an address certificate
- 4. a tax document with your name and home address issued in the past 18 months. A year and a half is fine too!
We can’t accept: mobile phone bills, bank/payment documents issued by online financial institutions such as Monzo, Revolut, Monese, N26, Tandem, Starling Bank, Transfer Wise, Bunq, Bnex.
Is my information secure and how will you use it?
We use industry-leading security systems including 128-bit SSL digital encryption (that little green padlock) across all our information requests and money transaction pages, so you can be super relaxed on that one.
All your details will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and stored safely. The documents you provide are used only for verifying your account and are available only to a restricted number of ‘need to know’ employees.
We take the utmost care to ensure that your data is safe and secure and that we are fully compliant with GDPR requirements. It’s all explained in our Privacy Policy.

Account inactivity/dormancy
Account inactivity/dormancy
How does my account become dormant?
If you don’t log in to your 10bet account for 12 months running, it goes dormant.
How do I stop this happening?
We’ll get in touch at least 30 days before the account is due to go dormant. If you’d like to stop this, all you need to do is log in to your account.
What happens if my account goes dormant?
After your account goes dormant, we’ll contact you to let you know your 30-day notice period has started. After that, we’ll charge you a £5 monthly fee for admin costs until you either log into and reactivate your account or your cash balance goes down to £0. Let's try avoiding this un-cheerful number.

What’s the least and most I can withdraw on my 10bet account?
The minimum withdrawal amount is £1.
The maximum amount for a single debit card withdrawal is £35,000. For the rest payment methods the amount is £50,000.
If your balance is lower than the minimum withdrawal amount, please contact our Customer Support team in order to withdraw the full balance amount.
How do I withdraw money from my 10bet account balance?
- 1. Do a happy little dance, you've earned it
- 2. Log in and click on ‘My account’ on the top right
- 3. Choose ‘Withdraw’ from the menu list
- 4. Select your preferred withdrawal method
- 5. Enter the withdrawal amount
- 6. Click on ‘Withdraw’
When will I receive my withdrawal?
In most cases, it takes just minutes. But this can change depending on the type of withdrawal.
- Debit cards – should take fewer than two business days
- E-wallets – can take from just a couple of minutes to up to two days
- Bank transfers – within 1-3 business days
In some cases, this might take longer because of internal checks.
As soon as we’ve processed your funds, you’ll see the money in your e-wallet account immediately. But if you used a debit card or bank wire it may take up to 2-3 business days to show in your bank account.
Why can't I always choose how I withdraw my funds?
In three words, it’s the law.
In 129 words, it goes like this:
In line with betting laws, we have a ‘Closed loop policy’ when it comes to withdrawing funds. This sounds technical, but all it means is that whatever card etc. you used to pay funds into your account, is the one we have to use to complete your withdrawal. If that’s not possible, the funds will be sent via bank transfer to a bank account in your name.
If you’ve used different payment methods to deposit, we’ll pay out to your method of choice. When this is not possible, we use the payment account with the highest deposit amount and the lowest withdrawal amount. Or, your funds will be sent to the most active or the most recently used payment method. This is based on our transaction and risk analysis.
I’ve deposited with a payment method which is no longer active. How can I withdraw?
Our Customer Support team love a challenge. They’ll find the fastest and safest alternative for you to withdraw your funds. For security reasons, this process might include extra verification.
Keeping your payment information up to date is the best way to guarantee you have a smooth gambling experience.
I’ve not received my withdrawal. What should I do?
Confirmed withdrawals can be viewed in ‘My account’ > ‘Transaction history’.
Pending withdrawals which are in the pipeline can be found in ‘My account’ > ‘Pending withdrawals’.
The standard timeframes for processing withdrawals can be found here.
What is an ARN number and how can I track my card transaction with it?
If necessary, we’ll give you an ‘Acquirer's Reference Number’ which lets you contact your bank and ask them to track down your card transaction from 10bet in their system.
Before requesting the ARN number, please check that two business days have passed since your withdrawal was confirmed and double check that the funds haven’t slipped into your bank account when you weren’t looking.

Bet settlement
Where can I see my settled bets?
- 1. Log in and click on ‘My account’ on the top right
- 2. Choose ‘Bet history’ from the menu list
- 3. Select the period you want from the drop-down menu
You can check out your betting history form for the last three months. Like what you see?
If you want to go back further than three months, just contact Customer Support.
How long does it take for my bet to be settled?
Bets are usually settled within a few minutes from the time the results are known. In-play bets are mostly settled during the event when the market results are known. Outright bets are settled at the end of the tournament or when the results are known.
This is the part we absolutely have to get right. We only use independent official results. Very occasionally there’s a delay in the settlement of a bet because we’re waiting for them to be announced.
My bet was incorrectly settled. What now?
All bets are settled in line with 10bet’s betting rules, which explain why bets for every sport and market are settled that way.
If you think we’ve messed up in the way your bet was settled:
- 1. Confirm the result
- 2. Check that the betting rules state that the bet should have been settled as a win
- 3. And if that’s the case, contact Customer Support.
Why are my winnings lower than expected?
If your winnings are lower than you thought, this could be why:
- 1. Free bet. The amount of the free bet isn’t refundable, so if your bet was placed with a free bet and it wins, you’ll only get the winnings but not the free bet stake back.
- 2. Rule 4 deduction. In horse racing, a deduction is applied to winnings when a bet is placed on an event before the withdrawal of another runner. This is shown in your bet details sheet.
- 3. Each-way. Each-way bets are 1 ‘win’ bet and 1 ‘place’ bet. If your horse doesn’t win the race but finishes in a position covered by the place bet, you’ll pocket the winnings and stake back for the place bet, but lose the stake of the win bet.
- 4. Dead heat. When two or more competitors tie, if you’ve placed a bet for one of them, the stake money on the victors will be divided by the number of winners, with full odds paid at the reduced stake. The remainder of the stake is lost.
- 5. Half won or lost settlement. When betting on quarter-handicap lines, the possible outcomes of your bet include half lost and half won. This means that half of the stake is refunded, and the other half is either lost or won. The winning half of the stake is multiplied by the odds to give you the amount you win. Follow? The settlement is made according to betting rules for handicap lines on each individual sport.
- 6. System settlement. System bets are settled as individual bets as soon as all the participating events in each bet are over. You can check out the total amount of winnings in ‘My account > Bet history’.
- 7. Selection void in an accumulator/ system bet. When a selection in an accumulator or a system bet is settled as void/cancelled/draw it is removed from the bet and plays no part in the bet settlement or the bet odds calculations. Winnings will be based on the new odds formulated after the removal of the selection.

Bet cancelation
Bet cancellations
Why was my bet cancelled?
Annoying, but these things sometimes happen. Bets may be voided or cancelled according to the betting rules of each sport or in line with our general betting rules. You can contact Customer Support quoting the ID number of the bet to get the inside skinny on the cancellation.
Can I cancel my bet?
Once you have clicked ‘Place bets’ and received a confirmation there’s no going back. But you can try to cash out your bet in ‘Open bets’ any time.
What if the horse I bet on is a non-runner?
If your horse is declared a non-runner, the bet becomes void and the stake is refunded.
Bets on non-runner horses in ante-post events will be considered lost. If it’s part of an accumulator bet, only that selection is excluded and all the elements of the rest of the bet remain valid.
What if my horse doesn’t make the start?
If your horse lets you down and doesn’t start, it will be declared a non-runner. More information on non-runners in different bet types and markets can be found in our Betting rules and in the question above.
What happens to my bet if the event is abandoned?
In the unlikely event that this happens, either your bet might be cancelled and the stake refunded, or the bet might be settled based on the result before that point. It very much depends on the individual sport. We’ve got detailed information covering situations like this in our Betting rules.
What happens to my accumulator bet if a selection is cancelled, void or drawn?
If a selection from your accumulator bet is cancelled, void or drawn, your bet will become the next accumulator bet further down the scale, so a treble becomes a double, a double becomes a single, etc. The bet will be then settled as normal, based on the remaining selections and odds.
What happens to my bet when a tennis player retires from the game?
No one likes to see a player limping round the court, but if a tennis player retires from a game, they are forfeiting and therefore lose the match. According to the rules of most markets, if at least one set has been played, all bets will be valid. But if the player fails to complete the first set all bets are off.
You can find information on what happens in different markets when a player retires in our Betting rules.

Live betting
Live betting
What is live betting?
Want a piece of the action? Then in-running or live betting is for you. You can jump in as the action unfolds before you, making split-second decisions on how a match will pan out, if, for instance, the favourites get a player sent off, or the underdogs score a sudden flurry of goals.
Are in-play bets accepted immediately?
You’ll need to keep a close eye, in-play betting odds can change incredibly quickly. Your bet will be accepted after a slight automatic delay. This is to make sure we always offer the correct odds for each market.
Why do the odds keep changing in my bet slip?
During an event odds on your bet slip could change depending on what’s happening. If this is the case, you’ll see a message alerting you to the change in odds. To place a bet on the new odds, click ‘Accept changes’.
How do I automatically approve changes in the bet slip?
It’s easy to set your account to automatically handle any changes to odds. You can either choose to always accept odds changes, never accept odds changes, or to only accept better odds on all selections in your bet slip by following these steps:
- 1. Go to the bet slip
- 2. Click on the Settings icon
- 3. Choose the option you prefer
Done.
What does ‘market suspended’ mean?
Not as dramatic as it sounds. This is most likely to be because something has happened or is happening in the event, like a goal, penalty or free kick in a football match and scoring a point or finishing a set in a tennis match etc.
When the markets are suspended, bets can’t be accepted or cashed-out, but they’ll soon go live again with new odds.

Betting odds explained
Betting odds explained
How do odds work in online betting?
The three main types of betting odds are:
- Fractional (British) odds
- Decimal (European) odds
- American (Moneyline) odds
These each say the same thing in a different way and there’s no difference in terms of profit. Any event can be converted and presented in the odds type you are most comfortable with.
How do fractional odds work?
Fractional odds are displayed as fractions, showing the profit relatively to the stake: The number on the left shows the profit you can make by staking the number on the right.
For example, fractional odds of 2/1 mean you'll receive 2 units of profit for every 1 unit that you stake. If you place a bet of £10 at 2/1 odds, your potential return will be £30 including your £10 stake.
How do decimal odds work?
Decimal odds are displayed in numeric form, showing the total amount you'll receive if you win. To calculate your winnings just multiply your stake by the odds.
For example, decimal odds of 3.00 mean that you multiply your stake by 3 to calculate your possible winnings. If you place a bet of £10 at odds of 3.00, your possible return will be £30 including your stake.
How do American odds work?
American odds are displayed as a positive or negative number and use a baseline value of £100.
A bet on the favourite means risking your stake to win £100, and a bet on the underdog means risking £100 to win the amount.
The symbol in front of the number marks the favourite with a ‘-’ and the underdog with a ‘+’.
For example, American odds of -260 means that you would have to bet £260 to win £100. With odds of +260, a £100 bet would win £260.
How do I change the odds format?
- 1. Log in and click ‘My account’
- 2. Choose “Account Details” from the menu list
- 3. Select your preferred format from the drop-down menu
- 4. Save the changes by clicking “Update Personal Info”

Cash out
Cash out
What is cash out?
Cash out lets you get money back on your bet before the event you are betting on finishes. The amount of money you get back will depend upon the likelihood of the bet winning at the time of cashing out, so it could be more or less than the initial stake.
You can use cash out on pre-event or in-play bets, singles or accas. You can secure part of your stake if your acca is losing, or bank your winnings if your acca’s in profit before all your selections are finished. Either way, the payout comes whenever you say it does.
For example, let’s say a £20 acca bet is placed on three Champions League teams at odds of 1/1, 15/8 and 3/1. If all three teams win, the potential return is £460.
All three teams are winning 1-0 with just 10 minutes left to play, so a cash out value of £360 is offered.
You could cash out and immediately take that £360. If one of the teams conceded after you cashed out, you wouldn’t be affected and would keep the £360 despite the bet losing.
However, if you didn’t cash out and the scores all stayed the same until full time, you’d have a return of £460.
How do I cash out my bet?
- 1. Click on “My bets” at the top of the page
- 2. Slide the bar on top to see all the bets eligible for cash out
- 3. To fully cash out your bet click the “Cash out” button
- 4. Confirm the cash out to continue and look out for the ‘Accepted’ message
What is partial cash out?
Like it says on the tin, if your bet qualifies for partial cash out, you can collect part of your winnings before an event has finished, leaving the remainder of the bet active.
How do I partially cash out my bet?
- 1. Click on “My bets” at the top of the page
- 2. Slide the bar on top to see all the bets eligible for cash out
- 3. Click the slider to select the amount you want to cash out
- 4. Click the “Cash out” button
- 5. Confirm the cash out to continue and look out for the ‘Accepted’ message
The remaining amount will continue to run and is placed as a new bet at the current odds at the time of the partial cash out.
In the case of a partial cash out of an acca bet, where one or more of the lines has already been settled, the new bet is placed on the remaining open lines at the current odds.
Why can't I cash out my bet?
When cash out isn’t available it could be for one of these reasons:
- 1. When there are changes in the price or market
- 2. It’s just not available on the market you’ve placed a bet
- 3. The bet has been placed with a free bet
Can I cash out any bet?
We offer cash out and partial cash out for pre-live and live markets and can be used for single bets and acca bets, excluding system bets, and forecast/tricast bets.
Sorry, but we can’t guarantee that the cash out facility will be available for a specific market or customer.
Can I cash out bets that were placed using a free bet?
Sadly, no. Bets placed using a free bet can’t be cashed out. But we can’t blame you for trying.
Does the cash out amount include my stake?
The available cash out amount is the total sum you’ll receive if the cash out is successful.
How is the cash out amount calculated?
When a potentially outcome-altering event like a goal in football or a break of serve in tennis is happening in the match, new odds are swiftly calculated to reflect the new situation. The cash out amounts available are calculated on the new odds multiplied by your stake and factoring in the original odds too. So when there is movement in the odds, the cash out amount also increases or decreases.
For example, if you placed a bet for Roger Federer to win but he is behind in the temporary game results, the available cash out amount will decrease in line with Federer’s chances of winning the match and your bet being successful.
But, if Roger Federer is ahead in the temporary game results, then the available cash out amount will increase as his chances of winning the match are higher.
When should I cash out?
You might want to think about cashing out your bet in the following situations:
- You need the funds for another bet or for a withdrawal
- One leg left in an acca – if all your other bets have won, weigh up the chances of winning the last selection and cash out in profit
- Late goals – consider the chances of late goals happening in the match. If you think the chances are high it might be safer to cash out in case the last kick turns the game around. But not in the way you want it to.
- The value of the cash out amount is bigger than your stake – time to snap up your profit
When is the cash out not available?
The cash out is suspended when a key event is happening in the match – like when a goal is scored or a penalty awarded. It is temporarily unavailable until we get the official results and new odds are calculated. A new cash out amount will be offered shortly after.
If you’re trying to cash out during this brief period there’ll be a delay before the cash out is accepted or a new cash out offer based on the changed situation in the game and new odds.

Bet types
Single bets
What is a single bet?
A single bet is a bet placed on one selection in a single event. If the selection is the correct one, the bet wins.
For example, in a game between Man Utd and Chelsea, a bet on Chelsea wins if Chelsea win in regular time. Bear in mind that extra time or penalties don't count as far as your bet is concerned.
How do I place a single bet?
- 1. Click on the odds next to your selection to add it to your bet slip
- 2. Fill in your stake to see the return from the bet
- 3. Click “Place bets”

Accumulator bets
Accumulator bets
What is an accumulator bet?
An accumulator bet (AKA “Acca” “Combo bet” or “Multi bet”) is a bet containing multiple selections (called legs) from different events. To win an acca bet you'll need to get each leg right.
It's not easy but it’s worth it, since the odds are being multiplied by each win of the legs involved.
How do I calculate my accumulator winnings?
Think of it as a series of singles that are multiplied together with each win.
Every winning bet becomes the bet amount of the next leg and gets multiplied by its odds.
Let’s say you bet £10 on a treble (an acca with 3 legs) with odds of 2/1, 3/1 and 4/1.
- The 1st leg wins at 2/1, giving £20 in winnings plus your £10 original stake. New stake: £30
- The 2nd wins at 3/1, giving you £90 in winnings and the £30 stake back. New stake: £120
- The 3rd leg wins at 4/1, so you get £480 in winnings, then add the stake of £120, giving a total return of £600
What type of accumulator bets are available?
You can combine up to 20 selections across different events in one accumulator bet.
Each bet is named after the number of selections it contains — Single, Double, Treble, 4-fold, 5-fold, and so on until the glorious 20-fold.
How do I place an accumulator bet?
- 1. Add 2 or more selections from different events to your bet slip
- 2. Fill in your stake and see the returns from the accumulator bet
- 3. Click “Place bets”

What happens to my accumulator bet if a selection is cancelled, void or drawn?
If any of those things happen, your acca bet downscales a level so a treble becomes a double, a double becomes a single, etc.
Can I get a bonus when I place an accumulator bet?
At 10bet you can get a cash bonus on top of your accumulator bet winnings. Depending on the number of selections on your acca, this can be anywhere from 2% all the way up to 50%.
- 1. Combine 3 or more selections of at least 1/2 (1.5) odds each on your bet slip.
The more legs you add, the bigger your boost - 2. The gift icon on the upper right corner indicates the extra cash boost
- 3. Once you are happy with your selections click on “Place bets”
- 4. If the bet wins, your winnings will automatically include the acca boost
You can read more about Acca Boost and the bonus percentages here.
What events can I include in my accumulator bet?
You can include any market on any sports event, but not two or more legs from the same match. If you're looking for combining bets from the same event, you better try our ‘Bet builder’ feature.

System bets
System bets
What is a System bet?
A system bet is like an accumulator bet. The difference is that not all your selections need to be correct for you to get a return. You get paid for every winning combination, giving you multiple chances to win.
System bets offer bigger chances to win compared to accumulators but with somewhat lower returns. Bettors usually use them to bet on underdogs with very high odds where the winning combinations create big profits.
Example:
A System 2/3 Bet means it’s all about doubles (the 2 in 2/3) and you need to make 3 selections (the 3 in 2/3).
For your three selections (let’s call them X, Y and Z) there are three possible double combinations: XY, XZ and YZ. If your selections X and Y are right, you’ll get a return on the XY double. If all three selections are right, you’ll win all three doubles! A £1 System 2/3 bet costs £3 because you’re placing a £1 bet on each of three selections.
So, you make your 3 selections, and below them on your bet slip you’ll see a section called “Multiples”. To place a 2/3 system bet, enter “1” in the box marked “Doubles x 3”. At the bottom of the bet slip you’ll see the number of bets (three), the total cost (£3) and the maximum return offered if all three selections win.
How do I place a system bet?
- 1. Add 3 or more selections from different events to your bet slip
- 2. Open your bet slip and select the “System” tab
- 3. Select the system bet you want to place and fill in your stake
- 4. Click “Place bets”

System bet calculator
We know that the odds on some bets can be difficult to calculate, particularly if you pick a number of different events to win on a system bet, that’s why we created the 10bet system bet calculator. Free to use and easy to understand, simply follow that link, input your choices and the system bet calculator does all the hard work for you, displaying the total odds and the possible winnings from your single or system bets.
How are my system bet winnings paid out?
Since by placing a system bet you are effectively placing a series of bets, they are settled individually from one another. That means that the total profit from your system bet will be paid out in portions when individual bets are settled as won.

Asian Handicap
Asian Handicap betting
What is Asian Handicap betting?
Asian Handicap is a type of bet which creates fairness between two uneven teams by removing goals or points from the stronger team's score (the favourite) or adding goals or points to the weaker one (underdog).
How does a Level Asian Handicap betting work?
A Level Asian Handicap is offered when both teams have equal chances to win. Just like the “Draw No Bet” market, it allows you to bet on the winner with 0 added points, and to get your money back if the match ends in a draw.
How does a Single Asian Handicap betting work?
A Single Asian Handicap (1) adds one goal to the team's final score.
You win if your team won the match, or even if it ended with a draw, due to the +1 added to your team's score. If your team loses with 1 goal difference, the +1 will change the outcome to a draw and your stake will be refunded.
An Asian handicap of -1 means you win only if your team won by two goals or more, since one goal will be removed from their final score.
If your team won by 1 goal, it will count as a draw and your stake will be refunded.
How does a Split Asian Handicap work?
A split Asian Handicap eliminates the possibility of a draw by adding 0.5 goals to the underdog or removing 0.5 goals from the favourite's final score.
If you back the team with the +0.5 handicap, your bet wins if that team wins or if the match is a draw.
The -0.5 bet means you only win your bet if your team won, because after a draw, 0.5 goals will be removed from your team's final score.
What's a Quarter Asian Handicap?
The Quarter Asian Handicap is a combination of both half and a Single Handicap in one bet.
The stake splits between the two bets and each bet pays separately.
Asian Handicap | What it means |
---|---|
0.25 (0, 0.5) |
If your team wins, you win both of your half bets – the (0.5) and the level (0) handicap. In case of a draw, the 0.5 bet pays its win, and the level handicap (0) stake is refunded as normal. |
0.75 (0.5, 1) |
You win if your team wins or draws the match. If it loses with a 1 goal difference, you'll lose the 0.5 bet, but your single (1) bet will 'correct' the outcome to draw and therefore refund its half of the total stake. |
-0.25 (0, -0.5) |
You win if your team wins the match. If it draws you lose half of the amount staked. (the 0 is a refund, the 0.5 lose.) |
-0.75 (-0.5, -1) |
You win if your team wins the match with a difference of two goals or more. If it wins with one goal, the 0.5 is a win, and the single (1) makes a draw and its stakes are refunded. |
In-play Asian Handicap betting
The handicap live bet allows betting using a handicap during the match.
Note that instead of calculating the total score as in pre-match betting, the live handicap refers only to the goals scored after the bet was placed.
In a way it's like the score is always 0-0 when placing this bet, regardless of the actual score, since the goals scored after placing the bet are the only ones that count.
Say your team leads 2-0 when you place a (-1) Handicap live bet. The match ended 2-0.
You might think your bet won since after deducting the handicap your team won 1-0, but no. Since no goals were scored after your bet was put, your team just lost (-1)-0.
To win you'll need your team to score 2 goals or more.
If they score only one, the bet ends in a draw and your stake is refunded.
A Quarter Asian Handicap Live betting example:
Live score: Man Utd 1-0 Burnley
Team | Asian Handicap | Odds |
---|---|---|
Man Utd | -0.75 | 5/6 (1.80) |
Burnley | +0.75 | 23/20 (2.15) |
- Final score 3:0
If you bet €100 on United, your net win is €80 because from the moment your bet was placed Man Utd scored 2 goals and Burnley scored 0. That’s a win for both your (-0.5) and (-1) bets after deducting the handicap. -
Final score 2:0, 3:1
If you bet on United €100, your net win €40:
From the moment your bet was placed Man Utd increased their advantage by 1 goal.
Your (-1) handicap ends with a draw and refund its €50 stake,
And your (-0.5) handicap gives you a net win of €40. -
Final score 1:0, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3,2:1, 2:2, 3:2, 3:3
Both (-0.5) and (-1) lose after the Handicap deduction.
What is a 3-Way Handicap?
In a 3-Way Handicap there can also be a draw, giving 3 potential bets:
Handicap (-1). Win if your team wins with a goal difference of 2 or more
Tie: Win if the team with (-1) Handicap wins with 1 goal difference
Handicap (+1): win if your team draws or wins the match

Each-way bets
Each-Way bets
What is an each-way bet?
An each-way bet is a bet type designed to compensate bettors if their pick fails to win but manages to finish in the top places.
Every each-way bet is made of two individual bets of equal amounts; a “win” bet for the event winner and a “place” bet for finishing in one of the top places. In case of winning the event, both the win and the place bets are successful.
The odds of a place bet are called place terms and are shown next to the each-way box (E/W) on the betting slip.
The place terms contain the fraction of the odds you'll get if your pick finishes in the top places, followed by the places which qualify for the bet. For example: ¼ 1-2-3 is ¼ of the odds for finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
How do I place an each-way bet?
- 1. Select your winner and open the bet slip
- 2. Check the (E/W) box to add a place bet
- 3. Choose your bet amount. Note the entered amount will be doubled to back both your win and place bets
- 4. Click “Place bets” if the possible winnings displayed on the bottom suit you
What are the place terms?
Place terms are the odds for the place part of your each-way bet. The number of places is derived from the amount of entrants as seen below.
Entrants | Not Handicap race | Handicap race |
---|---|---|
1-4 | Win only | Win only |
5-7 | ¼ odds for place 1 or 2 | ¼ odds for place 1 or 2 |
8-11 | ⅕ odds for place 1, 2 or 3 | ⅕ odds for place 1, 2 or 3 |
12-15 | ⅕ odds for place 1, 2 or 3 | ¼ odds for place 1, 2 or 3 |
16+ | ⅕ odds for place 1, 2 or 3 | ¼ odds for place 1, 2, 3 or 4 |
As shown, in a race of 8 or more, the place terms would be ⅕ 1-2-3. If your runner wins you’ll be getting paid twice; once for the win, plus ⅕ of the odds return for finishing in the top three places.
For example, let’s say you place a £1 bet on a 12/1 shot with E/W terms of ¼ 1-2-3.
If your pick finishes 1st you win £12 plus your stake (£1) for the outright win.
You also win £3 (a quarter of the outright odds) plus your £1 stake for placing (i.e. finishing in the paying top places). That gives you a total of £17.
If your racer finishes 2nd or 3rd, the win part of your bet loses, but you win £3 plus your stake for placing in the top three.
If your selection finishes outside the top three places, both bets lose.
How do Each-Way Accumulators work?
As in any acca bet, the winnings of the first bet are multiplied by the odds of the next bet, creating a new and larger stake which increases according to the number of bets combined.
In an Each-Way Acca you effectively bet two separate accumulators: one for the win and the other for the place.
If all your picks win you win both accas.
If any of your racers fail to win but finish in the paid top places, the win acca loses but your place acca wins.
If any of your place bets lose, both your acca bets lose.
For example, you place a £1 E/W acca on both selection A in Race 1 and selection B in Race 2.
The odds are:
12/1 on selection A with E/W terms of ¼ 1-2-3.
10/1 on selection B with E/W terms of ⅕ 1-2-3.
If selection A comes first and selection B finishes in the second place, the outright portion of the acca will lose, but the place acca will win so you'll be getting ¼ of the winning odds for selection A (£3), plus your stake (£1) MULTIPLIED by ⅕ of the winning odds for selection B (£2) plus your stake (£1). This gives you a total return of £12.
If both your selections win, both the outright and the place acca bets win so the win acca wins £12 plus your £1 stake on selection A for winning, MULTIPLIED by your win of £10 plus your £1 stake for selection B winning.
This gives you a return of £143 PLUS your place acca (£12 as detailed in the example above) so you'll get a grand total of £155 and a total profit of £153.
